NiTi's shape memory and superelastic characteristics are unique to shape memory alloys and create an opportunity for innovation in a variety of industries. This material is a lightweight, solid-state alternative to conventional actuators such as HYDRAULIC, PNEUMATIC, AND MOTOR-BASED SYSTEMS & IT. SMAs can exist in two different phases, with three different crystal structures (i.e. twinned martensite, detwinned martensite and austenite) and six possible transformations And create an opportunity for innovation in a variety of industries this alloys exhibit four inherent temperatures, which indicate the beginning and end of austenite and martensite transformations.
